The Sandbox prepares to take a major leap forward in their metaverse vision, as they begin opening the doors to user created content! By the end of the year (2023), they expect to have the public hosting and running their own experiences!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Though we have had a chance to see and explore a number of experiences in The Sandbox, these were always carefully controlled releases from partner projects. Since the beginning, the goal for The Sandbox has been to allow anyone who owns a plot of land to be able to create and publish their own gaming or social experience. Now we take a step towards that goal with this latest announcement.<\/p>\n

Now, any creator can publish their experience and create a landing page. After that, they can submit a request for permission to join the early access launch. Once accepted, experience creators will be able to open their experience to the public and even choose whether to charge an entrance fee or gate the whole thing by requiring ownership of a specific NFT! <\/p>\n

Public experiences will be discoverable on the main map and creators will also be able to share direct links to their creations.<\/p>\n
