The Flash <\/em>has been a disaster for DC and Warner Bros. The Ezra Miller-led superhero film is securing a record as one of the biggest box office flops<\/span> in the business. There are a lot of factors that led us to that point, but Warner Bros. attempts to get any money out of the film before the DC cinematic universe reboots once more have reached a new low: the blockchain.<\/p>\n

Phantom Liberty Is Undoing One Key Thing That Cyberpunk Got Right<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Warner Bros. Digital Collectibles, the company\u2019s official NFT\/Web3 branch, posted today that it\u2019s rolling out The Flash Web3 Movie Experience<\/em>, which is the first \u201cnew\u201d movie to be released on WB\u2019s blockchain nonsense service<\/span> after it released similar \u201cexperiences\u2019\u2019 for older films like The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring <\/em>and the 1978 Superman<\/em> film. The limited edition Flash<\/em> experience includes weird interactive environments you can swipe around on your phone based on locations from the movie, as well as digital collectibles like cards and models. Packaged into the whole deal is a digital copy of the film, access to bonus features, and all the normal shit you\u2019d expect from buying a movie through a digital service.<\/p>\n
