The Boys\u2019 Black Noir has returned from the dead \u2013 kind of \u2013 to reveal the details of the previously teased collaboration between the Prime Video superhero series and Call of Duty.<\/p>\n

Black Noir confirmed (in his trademark silent fashion) that he\u2019ll be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 along with Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and Homelander (Anthony Starr) with a press conference video posted by Vought International, the fictional corporation that oversees the superheroes within The Seven.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Of course, those who watch The Boys know that Black Noir died at the end of Season 3, which today\u2019s video has an answer for. It says at the beginning in a text card that \u201cthe following press conference was filmed last year prior to Black Noir\u2019s secret mission and Starlight\u2019s betrayal of The Seven.\u201d<\/p>\n
The midseason update will start rolling out on July 12 as part of Modern Warfare 2\u2019s Season 4 Reloaded. Each character will get their own Operator Bundle, with Starlight\u2019s rolling out first on the 12th, Homelander’s on July 16, and Black Noir’s on July 20, per a Call of Duty blog post<\/u> that revealed a few more details. Each bundle will cost 2,400 COD Points and include weapon charms, loading screens, weapon stickers, and emblems.<\/p>\n
The initial news of The Boys collaborating with Call of Duty was teased in a Season 4 trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 during Geoff Keighley\u2019s Summer Games Fest last month.<\/p>\n
As for The Boys Season 4, we\u2019re still awaiting an update on that, as showrunner Eric Kripke recently tweeted<\/u><\/a> that a release date depends on how long the ongoing Hollywood writers\u2019 strike continues. But the crew behind Prime Video\u2019s spinoff Gen V is planning a panel at San Diego Comic-Con<\/u>, so details about that show should be coming within the next couple of weeks. <\/p>\n\n
