Third-party developers revealed news about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including a classic aircraft and an airport.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We start with Aeroplane Heaven, which provided a small development update about its World War II bomber Avro Lancaster, currently scheduled for release in the second half of 2023.\u00a0 According to the developer, work on cockpit materials and textures is in progress and flight model coding has begun. The developer is considering some “really cool coding ideas” to implement extra functionality and additional model variations ( possibly Mk.I and Mk.III) if time allows.<\/p>\n

We also hear from Gaffer Simulation, which has been quiet for quite a few months after its release of O.R. Tambo Airport. The developer is sticking with South Africa and announced George Airport (FAGG), a smaller but relevant airport in the East of the country, serving both passenger and cargo flights.\u00a0<\/p>\n
