You\u2019ll first need to go ahead and download and install the\u00a0RetroArch emulator\u00a0which you can grab from the official\u00a0website here. If you already have RetroArch installed, make sure you are on the latest stable version which you can get\u00a0here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Get your DS ROM ready<\/span><\/h3>\n

Ensure that you first have at least one DS ROM file that you\u2019ll be using to test after getting setup. This ROM is the DS game that you\u2019ll be playing and using to test to make sure everything is setup properly.\n

2. How To Load Your DS ROM File In RetroArch<\/span><\/h3>\n
Go to Load Content<\/span><\/h4>\n
With the DS core now installed in RetroArch, we\u2019re ready to load up our NES ROM file.<\/p>\n

Head back to the main menu and select\u00a0Load Content<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/figure>\n

Locate where you saved your DS ROM on your computer and select it<\/li>\n

How To Install RetroArch DeSmuME Core on Steam?<\/span><\/h2>\n
To install the RetroArch DeSmuME core on Steam you will also need to:<\/p>\n

First, right click RetroArch<\/strong> on Steam > Manage<\/strong> > Browse<\/strong> local files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/figure>\n

Once the Steam folder opens for the RetroArch files, open up the cores<\/strong> folder<\/li>\n
Next, install the DeSmuME RetroArch core from the RetroArch buildbot here: https:\/\/buildbot.libretro.com\/nightly\/windows\/x86_64\/latest\/desmume_libretro.dll.zip<\/li>\n
After installing the DeSmuME core, extract the files from the ZIP folder you downloaded<\/li>\n
Open up the extracted folder and copy the\u00a0desmume_libretro.dll<\/strong>\u00a0file into your Steam\u2019s\u00a0core<\/strong>\u00a0folder<\/li>\n
Next, install the DeSmuME RetroArch info files from the RetroArch buildbot here: https:\/\/buildbot.libretro.com\/assets\/frontend\/info.zip<\/li>\n
After installing the info files, extract them from the ZIP folder you downloaded and copy all of them into the \u201cinfo\u201d folder for your Steam version of RetroArch<\/li>\n
