Whispers of the Dead gives players a set of continuous tasks and objectives once they have completed the campaign and reached the endgame in Diablo 4.<\/strong><\/p>\nThese objectives, referred to as \u2018Whispers\u2019, appear as various objectives in various locations in a random subregion on the map. Completing tasks will grant you a set amount of Grim Favors, depending on the type of objective.<\/p>\n
There is a limited time to complete the objectives before a new set of Whispers of the Dead quests will become available in another subregion.<\/p>\nCredit: MFPallytime<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nHow to Unlock the Tree of Whispers in Diablo 4<\/h2>\n To unlock the Tree of Whispers system in Diablo 4 you must first complete the campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\nOnce you have completed every Main Quest of the campaign, a Priority Quest named \u2018Whispers of the Dead\u2019 will become available.<\/p>\n
Traveling to and interacting with the Tree of Whispers will activate the Whispers of the Dead endgame bounty system.<\/p>\n
The Tree of Whispers is located in the Writhing Mire in Hawezar and has the below icon on the map:<\/p>\nWhat Are Grim Favors in Diablo 4?<\/h2>\n Grim Favors are a type of currency that you give to the Tree of Whispers in exchange for reward caches. You need 10 Grim Favors to get a reward cache. <\/strong><\/p>\nEach Whisper of the Dead objective will grant you Grim Favors for completing them. The amount of Grim Favors you receive depends on the type of objective you complete.<\/p>\n
Here are the different types of Whispers and how many Grim Favors you get for completing them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\nWhisper Objectives:<\/strong><\/td>\nGrim Favors:<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n\nCellars 1<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \nHarvest Enemy Materials 3<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \nDungeons 5<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/figure>\nThe Whisper Objectives that grant 5 favors are the most difficult and will take the longest. Once you have obtained 10 Grim Favors, you can\u2019t get any more and must spend them at the Tree of Whispers.<\/p>\n
Tree of Whispers Rewards<\/h3>\n Completing Whispers of the Dead requests will grant you a choice of one of three reward caches.<\/strong><\/p>\nThe type of reward cache available to you is selected randomly from the following:<\/p>\n
\n Collection of One-Handed Weapons<\/li>\n Collection of Two-Handed Weapons<\/li>\n Collection of Amulets<\/li>\n Collection of Boots<\/li>\n Collection of Chaos (random assortment of items from all other available collections)<\/li>\n Collection of Chest Armors<\/li>\n Collection of Gloves<\/li>\n Collection of Helms<\/li>\n Collection of Leg Armors<\/li>\n Collection of Rings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nCredit: RageGamingVideos<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThese collections also have a chance to be \u2018Greater\u2019, which increases your chances of finding Legendary and higher-tier gear upon opening.<\/p>\n
