Today Microsoft and third-party developers had relevant releases to share for Microsoft Flight Simulator.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We start with the\u00a0Aircraft & Avionics Update 2<\/em>, which includes large improvements to the Boeing 787 and 747, on top of the Garmin avionics, and fixes aplenty for the Cessna Citations (CJ4 and Longitude). You can find the full patch notes on the official forums.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We also hear about telemetry that has been implemented to find a slippery bandwidth issue that has affected many players.<\/p>\n

In Aircraft & Avionics Update 02, we added new telemetry to help investigate the \u201cbandwidth is too low\u201d and connection loss issues that users in the community have reported. While the investigation is ongoing, thanks to data gathered during the beta we were able to narrow down the search. For example, we now understand the issues are not limited to specific regions or locations. With the global release of AAU 02 this week, we\u2019ll have the opportunity to gather data on a larger scale and continue working towards a solution.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Last, but not least, a big 1.0.20 update has been released for the excellent ATR 42\/72, with plenty of fixes and additional functionality. You can find the full patch notes on the official forums.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Moving on to third-party developers, MK Studios released\u00a0Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport\u00a0(LIPE) in Italy. This relevant destination in the north of the country is currently available on Simmarket\u00a0for $17.42 and a release on Orbx Direct should also be forthcoming.<\/p>\n
