Until this week, at least, when McDonalds paid the site\u2019s owners to temporarily replace Grimace\u2019s biography with a paid advertisement.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s be clear up front: the original biography<\/span>, written by critic, writer and digital marketer Nathan Steinmetz, aka Humanstein<\/a><\/span>, isn\u2019t the most important <\/em>piece of historical information on the internet.
