XSEED Games\u00a0and\u00a0Marvelous Europe\u00a0have shared a trailer showcasing the beautiful vistas you can relax at in\u00a0Loop8: Summer of Gods<\/strong>, which is coming to\u00a0Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n

Pitched as \u201ca nostalgic and beautifully recreated snapshot of rural Japan circa 1983,\u201d this coming-of-age adventure from\u00a0SIEG Games\u00a0centres on protagonist Nini and his classmates as they seek to defeat the Kegai \u2013 demonic entities who have forced humanity to the brink of extinction.<\/p>\n

Having been raised on a failed space station called Hope, Nini returns to Earth to spend his summer in one of humanity\u2019s last remaining sanctuaries, Ashihara. Gifted with Demon Sight, he can use his special connection to the Gods to reset the world \u2013 each loop allowing him and his allies to relive the eighth month over and over until their efforts succeed.<\/p>\n

The team behind the game includes senior producer Yoichi Miyaji (Lunar series, Grandia series), game designer Yuri Shibamura (Gunparade March, Touken Ranbu), character designers Shingo Adachi (Sword Art Online) and En Morikura (Kizuna Ai), concept artist Kitsuneiro (Amatsu Kitsune), mascot character designer Ryudai Murayama (Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin) and composer Noriyuki Iwadare (Ace Attorney series).<\/p>\n

• Live an Ordinary Life, Fight Extraordinary Enemies: Nini will build bonds with Ashihara\u2019s residents while protecting the town from the ever-present threat of the Kegai, repeating the cycle to uncover how everyday actions impact battles in the Underworld, and vice versa.<\/li>\n
• Relive the Past to Alter the Future: Though the deadline for humanity\u2019s extinction draws ever closer, Ashihara\u2019s fate remains in players\u2019 hands. Repeatedly return to the start of August, alter Nini\u2019s actions, and see how they turn the tides of destiny across multiple endings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
