Warner Bros. Games today announced\u00a0Mortal Kombat 1<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em>\u00a0a brand-new title in the acclaimed\u00a0Mortal Kombat<\/em>\u00a0videogame franchise that has sold more than 80 million units since its debut over 30 years ago. Developed by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, the upcoming game will introduce a reborn\u00a0Mortal Kombat\u00a0<\/em>Universe that has been created by the Fire God Liu Kang, featuring re-imagined versions of iconic characters as they\u2019ve never been seen before.\u00a0Mortal Kombat 1<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is scheduled to release on September 19th, 2023, for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Pre-order to get into the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta in August 2023.<\/p>\n

The reveal trailer reveals the roster of characters includes 8 fan favorites: Liu Kang, Raiden, Kung Lao, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Mileena, as well as Shang Tsung as a pre-order bonus playable character.<\/p>\n
