EA is “overjoyed” with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s performance since launching on Xbox Series X|S last month, saying that the game has already reached “millions” of players across all platforms.<\/h2>\n

In its first 11 days, “millions of players have joined Cal Kestis and BD-1 in their rebellion against the Empire,” EA has said, and the publisher’s CEO Andrew Wilson is “overjoyed” with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s early performance.<\/p>\n

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has reached “millions” of players already<\/h3>\n

During EA’s latest earnings call (via VGC), Wilson said, \u201cIt\u2019s very early, I think we\u2019re 11 days in at this point, we\u2019re in a different kind of market dynamic, but I would tell you it\u2019s pacing very strongly against our expectations and against Jedi: Fallen Order.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite Star Wars Jedi: Survivor being delayed for six weeks for polishing, the game did launch with a plethora of bugs, visual issues, and performance hiccups \u2014 as Sean noted in his Star Wars Jedi: Survivor first impressions. Respawn has been hard at work rolling out updates. Despite these problems, EA is still very happy with how the game has turned out. \u201cOn Jedi, we\u2019re overjoyed. We made the bold decision to move the title six weeks to give the team the opportunity to really get to the quality of the game that they wanted,” Wilson continued. “I think we\u2019re building on where we were with Jedi: Fallen Order, and it\u2019s certainly been a very strong launch for us.”<\/p>\n
