\u201cAloy\u2019s adventures will continue\u201d in Horizon 3<\/h2>\n

In the same post that studio announced that the Horizon series had sold 32.7 million units across its three games, Studio Director Jan-Bart van Beek signed off the article by speaking about the future of the franchise, noting that players aren\u2019t done seeing Aloy just yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast of all, I\u2019d like to share that we are so excited that Aloy\u2019s adventures will continue,\u201d said van Beek. \u201cHer latest mission takes her to the ruins of Los Angeles in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, and we can\u2019t wait for you to find out where she\u2019ll go next.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guerrilla hasn\u2019t been coy about making another Horizon. Angie Smets, who recently moved from Guerrilla to PlayStation Studios, said that the team will be \u201cexpanding the world of Horizon with Aloy\u2019s next adventure and [its] exciting online project.\u201d Footage from a 2020 build of that online game seemingly leaked back in January.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
