In Shooting Saucer<\/em>, a spaceship is trying to snag you with its tractor beam. Luckily, you (and you other playable pals) have some useful powers to fight back with.<\/p>\n

Piggy was just trying to have a nice picnic when it caught the eye of an alien parasite with a flying saucer. Well, now Piggy\u2019s on the run to keep from being caught in the saucer\u2019s tractor beam. While you\u2019re a tough little creature on your own, able to fire some bubbly blasts at anyone who causes you trouble, you\u2019ll need to hurry to keep out of the beam. This means it\u2019s really easy to make mistakes and bump into all of the other cranky creatures that inhabit the various planets you visit while you dodge the saucer. The parasite is VERY persistent.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s apparently not very picky, though, as it is just as prone to going after Piggy\u2019s friends. You can use some different characters that play very different from Piggy. Paraffin is a haunted candle that can damage anything that walks into its sinister flames. The thing is, haunted as it may be, it\u2019s still a candle. You can blow out its light and it won\u2019t be hurting anyone. Another friend is Turr. Well, friends, I guess. Turr is a whole bunch of birds, and all of them will shoot every time you press the button. If they get hit, a whole mass of them will get clobbered, though, so you can lose that firepower just as fast as you gained it. Luckily, Piggy and their friends can pick up orbs from fallen enemies that will let them evolve into stronger forms, so you\u2019re only weakened temporarily. And you\u2019ll stay strong until you take a hit, rewarding skilled play.<\/p>\n

Shooting Saucer <\/em>is a silly, bouncy, yet challenging platformer that can be highly stressful despite its playful look. Even so, it\u2019s hard not to want to come back and spend more time with your new alien buddies.<\/p>\n
