How to dodge in Dead Island 2<\/em><\/h2>\n

Dodging is one of the earliest tricks you learn to do in Dead Island 2<\/em>. You get dodge by reaching level 2, which should happen fairly early in your game. The dodge button is either the left shoulder button on your controller, or if you\u2019ve changed the bindings, you can see what button is used via the Skill Card menu. To dodge, you need to press the button while holding a directional input to dodge in that direction. This seems easy to do, but getting the hang of dodging attacks before they hit you can take a while.<\/p>\n

How to counter<\/h3>\n

You can counter in Dead Island 2<\/em> is by dodging at the right time. When you see an enemy jump for you, and before they can hit you, you can dodge out of the way to put them in a counter state.
