A classic Call of Duty mode that recently returned in Modern Warfare 2019 and Cold War, Face Off is back once again in MW2.<\/p>\n

The mode first appeared in Modern Warfare 3, where it became a popular small team experience. Now, fans are glad to see Face Off returning \u2013 even if its release date is a little further out than we\u2019d like it to be.<\/p>\n

What Is Face Off Mode in MW2?<\/h2>\n
Face Off is a Call of Duty game mode which pits players against one another in fierce 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 match-ups across a variety of modes. <\/strong><\/p>\n
The mode is mostly played on smaller maps<\/strong>, leading to a fast-paced and intense experience. On these maps, Face Off players can experience Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, or Domination games<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
There are also usually no killstreaks or scorestreaks to worry about, making Face Off all about which team is better at gunplay.<\/p>\n
