Third-party developers released a rather unique airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator alongside new assets for upcoming add-ons.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We start with the release by Spinoza of Jumbolair Airport near Ocala, Florida. This is definitely unique as it includes the largest private paved runway in the United States, capable of accommodating airliners. Jumbolair is a gated community for aviation enthusiasts with a whole lot of disposable income often mentioned by the media because it includes the residence of famous actor John Travolta. In case you don’t know, Travolta is an accomplished pilot and can literally land his private jets and then taxi them to the door of his house.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Interestingly (and perhaps understandably) the developer created the airport with a slightly anachronistic detail: John Travolta’s own Quantas-liveried Boeing 707 is parked outside of the house, despite the fact that it has been donated to the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society in Australia in 2017, and it hasn’t been at Jumbolair in a while.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The add-on is available on Simmarket for $14.72 plus available VAT and you can see what it looks like below.<\/p>\n

Next, Flight Replicas provided an update on its upcoming aircraft. The P-40N Warhawk is finally close to release, pending only testing on Xox. The developer plans to be ready to release it on the official marketplace by the end of the coming week.<\/p>\n

We also get to see new screenshots of the de Havilland \u00a0DH.83 Fox Moth\u00a0including a look at the cockpit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last but not least, Impulse Simulations released a video of its upcoming\u00a0Alice Springs Airport\u00a0(YBAS)\u00a0in Australia, showing the interactive hangar doors. You can watch it on the developer’s Facebook page.<\/p>\n
