Nintendo of America has shared an overview trailer for\u00a0Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp<\/strong>, which releases\u00a0on\u00a0Nintendo Switch later this month.<\/p>\n The original\u00a0Advance Wars\u00a0and\u00a0Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising\u00a0on\u00a0Game Boy Advance\u00a0have been \u201creimagined and rebuilt from the ground up\u201d by developer\u00a0WayForward, who have received \u201csupport and advice\u201d from both Nintendo and\u00a0Intelligent Systems.<\/p>\n In this strategic, turn-based game, you play as a tactical advisor for the Orange Star Army whose expertise is needed to command land, air and naval units across the battlefield.<\/p>\n When you\u2019re struggling to defeat enemy squads or to capture towns and bases, you can use your powerful Commanding Officer (CO) Powers to help turn the tide of battle in your favour. Andy can repair units, whereas Sami can boost the abilities of troops. But be careful, as your opponents can use CO Powers as well.<\/p>\n Beyond the two campaign stories, up to four players can battle it out in Versus Mode. Each player will be able to choose a CO from either campaign, while you can customise battle scenarios through options such as funds per allied base or fog of war.<\/p>\n Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 21st April 2023.<\/p>\n
