Today Sega released another trailer for its new mobile JRPG\u00a0404 Game Re:Set<\/em>, directed by NieR creator Yoko Taro.<\/p>\n

The trailer introduces another of the girls who will be playable in the game, Fantasy Zone<\/em>. Like\u00a0Out Run<\/em>,\u00a0After Burner<\/em>, Virtua Cop, and Virtua Fighter,\u00a0<\/em>for whom we already saw trailers, she’s basically the waifu version of the 1986 arcade game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She is voiced by Nichika Omori, who voiced Impero in Azur Lane.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you’re familiar with Japanese games and media, you likely won’t be too shocked by the concept of turning pretty much anything they can think of into girls. Japan’s pop culture has brought us catgirls, shipgirls, airplane girls, horsegirls, game console girls… and now we get video game girls. With Yoko Taro at the helm, that’s really not a shocker.<\/p>\n
