There are several different types of chests that you will discover while roaming the grounds in\u00a0Hogwarts Legacy.\u00a0<\/em>While some are level locked, there are others that need a bit of magic to open up. One of the chests that needs a specific spell in order to open it is the Eyeball chest. These are easily spotted, as they move their large eyeball that is directly in the center of the chest when you walk by them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While it might seem obvious as to how to get them to open, as they are watching you, some may scratch their heads and not know how to get the precious loot inside. In this guide, we will discuss how to open the creepy-looking Eyeball Chests in Hogwarts Legacy.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

In order to open these chests, you will need to be completely undetected by their naked eye! You can use a spell such as Disillusionment,\u00a0<\/strong>which is learned pretty early on from the storyline quests, in order to sneak up on the chest undetected and open them up. While we are unsure if this is the only way, as there are also invisibility potions available in-game, this seems to be the cheapest and easiest way to get them open.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The rewards seem to vary, but most of these chests contain gold for you to use at shops around the world. Some contain up to 500 gold per chest, which is huge since making money in\u00a0Hogwarts Legacy\u00a0<\/em>can be a monumental task. One of the chests we found had a Wand Handle inside, so we assume the rewards from each of these chests can range from just gold to accessories, gear, decorations, and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n
