Marvel\u2019s Midnight Suns<\/strong> sales have flopped despite a positive critic reception, publisher 2K\u2019s parent company Take-Two Interactive has revealed. This is the second AAA game released in December 2022 to have failed commercially.<\/p>\n

Marvel\u2019s Midnight Suns sales may have been impacted by its release window<\/h2>\n

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told Bloomberg\u2019s Jason Schreier that Midnight Suns may have been negatively impacted by its December release window. Despite having Marvel attached to it, the turn-based strategy game did not attract enough players.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Take-Two hopes that Midnight Suns sales will have some legs like other Firaxis Games-developed titles.<\/p>\n

It was previously revealed that the highly-anticipated The Callisto Protocol, which also released in December, was a commercial flop for publisher Krafton. The horror game developed by Dead Space creator released to lukewarm reviews, thanks in no small part to its flawed execution and performance issues.<\/p>\n

Krafton has not revealed The Callisto Protocol\u2019s sales figure.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
