SEGA\u00a0has outlined its 2023 content roadmap for\u00a0Sonic Frontiers<\/strong>, which\u00a0is now available on\u00a0Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n

Sonic Team\u00a0will support the game \u201cwith multiple content updates that will be free to all users.\u201d The first update will introduce a Juke Box, Photo Mode and new Challenge Modes, while the second will celebrate Sonic\u2019s birthday and add Open Zone Challenge and new Koco. Whereas the third update appears to be the most substantial, adding new playable characters and story content.<\/p>\n

First revealed at\u00a0The Game Awards 2021, Sonic Frontiers sees the iconic blue blur star in his \u201cfirst-ever open-zone-inspired gaming experience\u201d which has been led by producer Sachiko Kawamura and director Morio Kishimoto.<\/p>\n

With the chance to explore the visually stunning, open-zone realm called Starfall Islands, you can \u201caccelerate to new heights and experience the thrill of high-velocity open-zone freedom\u201d \u2013 landscapes packed with dense forests, overflowing waterfalls, sizzling deserts and more.<\/p>\n

Sonic Frontiers is now available at retail and digitally on the\u00a0Nintendo eShop\u00a0for\u00a0Nintendo Switch\u00a0worldwide.<\/p>\n
