God of War Ragnarok was released on PS4 & PS5 on November 9, 2022. The game sold 5.1 million copies in its first week on sale, smashing records for the franchise and also giving Sony its fastest-selling first-party game debut of all time. <\/p>\n

Sony\u2019s god-slaying sequel also picked up a wealth of accolades at The Game Awards 2022, and while it didn\u2019t nab Game of the Year (that went to Elden Ring), it did win that particular gong in TIME Magazine.<\/p>\n
