It looks like GTA Online <\/em>is getting ready for the holidays with the next update, which is launching on December 13th. If you’re a GTA+ member, you’ll get exclusive benefits and perks in Los Santos Drug Wars, like\u00a0a 1.5x multiplier on your GTA$ and RP. These will trigger while you’re doing the new First Dose story missions, which stacks with the GTA$ and RP bonuses from weekly events. That sounds like a pretty good deal for those of you who are into this kind of thing.<\/p>\n
Once the First Dose is completed, you can also install an Acid Lab in the back of the new\u00a0MTL Brickade 6×6. This can be done for free if you’re a GTA+ member, and you’ll also get a 50% boost to Acid production speed throughout the Membership event period. New festive gear is also being added for GTA+ members on December 13th, so keep an eye out for that if you’re in the holiday mood.<\/p>\n
The Los Santos Drug Wars update itself will add a whole bunch of wacky stuff, including a new business enterprise, new vehicles and missions, and “experiential upgrades”, although it’s not clear what those are yet. More stuff is also on the way, including “significant story and gameplay updates” and lots more.<\/p>\n
There’s also a bunch of things that were announced yesterday and lost in the TGA shuffle. Operation Paper Trail, for instance, will have you sworn in as an agent of the IAA and getting to the bottom of shady dealing with the Duggan family’s\u00a0petrochemical holdings. While doing the Operation Paper Trail missions, you’ll earn\u00a02X GTA$ and RP.<\/p>\nThat’s one veiny forehead.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
There were also announcements for GTA Online Gunrunning, which will give you\u00a02X GTA$ and RP on Gunrunning Sell Missions as well as\u00a02X GTA$, RP, and Goods from Business Battles.\u00a02X GTA$ and RP can also be acquired from Collection Time, which is done by collecting the most money bags like you’re a modern Scrooge McDuck.\u00a0<\/p>\n
If that’s not your style, you can get stylish by collecting the Black Broker Flat Cap and Black Beat Off Earphones that are stashed in Goods crates and rewarded upon delivery. There’s also a new\u00a0Premium Test Ride in the\u00a0Declasse Vigero ZX, which looks very zoom zoomy and able to Tokyo Drift around every corner. It’s also only available for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so you’re out of luck if you’re a PC player.<\/p>\n
