Fightful\u2019s wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp has revealed on Twitter that the site has been told AEW Fight Forever<\/strong> will be a single released with new additions made over time.<\/p>\n

This presumably means that the game will be updated with new DLC based on what\u2019s happening in the AEW world, rather than any new games being released each year. In other words, there won\u2019t be any FIFA-style annual releases for AEW, as any future content is simply evolving the base version of the game.<\/p>\n

Fightful Select has been told that the working plan for AEW Fight Forever is a single release with additions, evolving the game based on that initial release as opposed to annual edition.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s about all we know so far, although hopefully we\u2019ll get some clarification from developer Yuke\u2019s at some point soon, as the game is due out in early 2023.<\/p>\n

In related news, it has been claimed that CM Punk has not been removed from the game\u2019s roster following a number of real-life controversy surrounding the wrestler.<\/p>\n

AEW Fight Forever is slated for release in February 2023 for PS4, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X\/S and Xbox One.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
