Trail thrashers are basically dirt bikes but where can you find them on the new island of Asteria,<\/strong> in Fortnite Chapter 4?<\/p>\n
Over the weekend, Fortnite entered Chapter 4 Season 1, not only bringing with it a new map but also Geralt from the Witcher games, among other character cameos.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Although the game has previously featured all sorts of insane vehicles \u2013 such as rideable flying saucers \u2013 one very basic form of transportation has been missing from it: dirt bikes. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Now, dirt bikes, or trail thrashers as they’re called, are officially a part of Fortnite, although you\u2019ll need to look around carefully if you want to ride one on the new Asteria map. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Where can you\u00a0find dirt bikes in Fortnite?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n
If you have a look around your nearest gas station or garage, you\u2019ll very likely find a dirt bike waiting for you \u2013 particularly around grassy and dusty regions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Most of the drops are random but dirt bikes can be found in set locations as well, even though it might not seem that way at first. \u00a0<\/p>\n
From the picture below, you can see there is a big concentration of dirt bikes parked: <\/p>\n

South of Faulty Splits (southeast) <\/li>\n
All around Frenzy Fields (southwest) <\/li>\n
All around Shattered Labs (west) <\/li>\n
At King\u2019s Launch and Breakwater Bay north of the Citadel (northwest) <\/li>\n
Scattered all around the icy parts of Asteria (north) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Here are all the locations on Asteria where you can find dirt bikes:<\/p>\n

How to use dirt bikes in Fortnite<\/strong> <\/h2>\n
Finding and riding a dirt bike in the game can prove particularly useful when it comes to escaping fights. <\/p>\n
However, once you become a skilled rider you can also try shooting nearby enemies, making it significantly easier to get kills in the early stages of the game. <\/p>\n
Unfortunately, you cannot build while riding a dirt bike, but your passenger can \u2013 that\u2019s right, trail thrashers can seat up to two players. <\/p>\n
All you need to do to get started is go near one of the bikes and press the interact hotkey.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Be careful when riding a dirt bike, as these vehicles have limited fuel, meaning if it runs out you could be left stranded somewhere you don’t want to be.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Luckily, fuel can be refilled using a\u00a0gas can, given that you\u2019re carrying one, or by visiting the nearest gas station to use one of its petrol pumps.<\/p>\n
Again, be aware of your surroundings while filling up your dirt bike\u2019s tank, as if an opponent shoots a gas can out of your hands, it will cause it to explode, dealing large amounts of damage. <\/p>\n
