An update to the RPG game\u2019s Steam page appears to have revealed the Star Wars Jedi Survivor release date. The follow-up to Respawn\u2019s rather excellent Soulslike Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order comes out March 16, 2023.\u00a0<\/strong>The update has since been removed.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s likely Respawn planned to reveal the release date with a trailer or announcement at this week\u2019s Game Awards presentation, but as sometimes happens, an update prepared to coincide with the reveal has now been published ahead of time.<\/p>\n

The Steam page for the game has been up since July. In addition to the release date, the update included the Star Wars Jedi Survivor system requirements, which call for a minimum of an Intel Core i7 7700 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 and a graphics card with 8GB of VRAM \u2013 Respawn (currently) recommends at least a GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 580. You\u2019ll also need a whopping 130GB of storage space for this game.<\/p>\n

The update also reveals pre-order bonuses for the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Deluxe Edition, which include Han Solo- and Luke Skywalker-inspired looks for Cal, an R2-D2 colour scheme for BD-1, and Han\u2019s classic DL-44 blaster set.<\/p>\n

The Jedi Survivor Steam page says it will include new Force abilities and new lightsaber fighting styles, as well as \u201can expanded host of enemies\u201d and new planets \u2013 including some \u201cfamiliar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy.\u201d Jedi Survivor will also feature larger explorable maps that have \u201cmore to discover off the beaten path.\u201d<\/p>\n

Director Stig Asmussen has said that Jedi Survivor will feel \u201cmore filmic\u201d than its predecessor thanks to next-gen tech like ray-tracing \u2013 we can\u2019t wait to watch that lightsaber glow bouncing beautifully off of all the shiny space walls.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
