  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameinformer.com\/2022\/01\/25\/palworld-that-wacky-pokemon-style-survival-game-with-guns-gets-new-trailer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Palworld<\/a>, AKA \u201cThat bizarre Pok\u00e9mon-ish&nbsp;game with guns\u201d, has a new trailer that puts names to the many cuddly faces that star in this over-the-top adventure.\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
Meet the Pal, the monsters that roam Palworld\u2019s colorful yet kind of messed up\u00a0world. These cuddly though often dangerous critters\u00a0include the seemingly love-obsessed Lovander, grass panda Mossanda, and Tanzee, which is basically Grookey if it possessed a love for the AK-47. Sure, some of them boldly walk\u00a0the\u00a0line of being outright copies of existing\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon, but these can carry guns, which we\u00a0imagine is enough of a separation to repel any lawyers. Palworld\u00a0first gained attention in June 2021. Developer Pocketpair bills the experience\u00a0as a multiplayer open-world survival game as opposed to a turn-based RPG like Pok\u00e9mon. As a human character, you can capture, befriend, train, battle, and breed Pal. If you consider yourself a bigger monster than what you\u2019re catching, you even sell, eat, and outright exploit Pal for labor. On top of that, you can build houses, battle poachers, and construct factories to put your critters to work. Palworld looks nuts, and we\u2019re still not entirely convinced it\u2019s a real video game, but we certainly want it to be.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Thankfully, Pocketpair plans to release Palworld in Steam Early Access sometime next year, so we\u2019ll hopefully get a chance to try it out sooner than later. The game is currently slated for PC.\u00a0<\/p>\n
