Team Cherry\u2019s Metroidvania action-adventure game, Hollow Knight<\/strong>, follows the journey of a nameless warrior called the Knight <\/strong>as he travels through Hallownest, which is now a kingdom ruined by a supernatural disease. As the Knight journeys through Hallownest, he encounters various characters that will help fully unravel the story in the game.<\/p>\n

To fully explore and navigate through Hallownest, the Knight must have the maps for the different areas in the game. To obtain maps, the Knight must purchase them from the humming cartographer named Cornifer<\/strong>. Cornifer is working on mapping the entirety of Hallownest so he can be found in every area and sell the area\u2019s map to the Knight.<\/p>\n

In this guide, the player will learn how to find Cornifer in the Forgotten Crossroads<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Forgotten Crossroads<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Cornifer\u2019s location in the Forgotten Crossroads is near the top of a room on the western side near the middle of the Forgotten Crossroads.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Knight will encounter various enemies in the Forgotten Crossroads, but the Knight will specifically encounter the following enemies on the way to Cornifer<\/strong>: a Tiktik, Crawlids, and Gruzzers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the Forgotten Crossroads is one of the first areas in the game, there are no required abilities that the Knight must have in order to find Cornifer in the area.<\/p>\n

To find Cornifer in the Forgotten Crossroads, this is what the Knight must do:<\/p>\n

1. Starting from the Bench up in Dirtmouth<\/strong>, head to the right <\/strong>past the Stagway Station entrance and Iselda\u2019s Shop, then drop down the entrance of the Forgotten Crossroads<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
2. Next, head to the left upon landing, jump across the gap, continue heading to the left, drop down the platforms where the Knight will encounter a Tiktik and a Crawlid, and then take the exit on the left<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
3. After that, the Knight will be in a large room filled with Gruzzers and more Tiktiks<\/strong>. Head to the bottom of the room <\/strong>using the small platforms in the middle, defeat the Gruzzers and Tiktiks if you want, and take the exit downwards <\/strong>in the middle.<\/li>\n
4. Then, upon entering the room, you will start to see pieces of paper lying around and hear someone humming (which are telltale signs that Cornifer is near). Drop down the gap on the right<\/strong>, head to the right,<\/strong> and there the Knight will find Cornifer<\/strong>!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

   Talk to Cornifer, <\/strong>and he will tell the Knight that he has a fondness for exploring as he takes great pleasure in getting lost and finding his way again. He will then introduce himself as a cartographer and that he is currently working on mapping the area. Then, he will offer the Knight a copy of the map of the area,<\/strong> which the Knight can purchase for only 30 Geo<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

   Now that the Knight has found Cornifer, the Knight can now navigate the Forgotten Crossroads area better!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
