PHILADELPHIA (AP) \u2014 Escape the unhappy trombone at Oklahoma: The Satisfaction of Oklahoma marching band<\/a> has been benched.
The marching band wrote on social media<\/a> that finances constraints compelled it to remain residence as a substitute of touring to Philadelphia for Saturday’s recreation between No. 13 Oklahoma and Temple.
The Saint Joseph’s pep band pinch-hit<\/a> for OU and led \u201c Boomer Sooner<\/a> \u201d for the sport at Lincoln Monetary Subject.
The Satisfaction of Oklahoma wrote the band would nonetheless journey to all Southeastern Convention street video games this season.
