Is There Crossplay in Warzone 2?<\/h2>\n Yes, there is Crossplay between Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC in Warzone 2. Regardless of the platform, players can jump into a battle royale match or any other with all platform holders.<\/strong><\/p>\nAs long as you and your friends on different platforms have Crossplay enabled, you can play together online in Warzone 2.<\/strong><\/p>\nCrossplay is enabled from the start in Warzone 2<\/strong>, so if you haven\u2019t touched the setting, you\u2019ll likely already have it on.<\/p>\nDisabling Crossplay differs by console, but on PlayStation 4 and 5, you must go to the in-game settings to turn it off, while Xbox has Crossplay settings in the general console menus.<\/p>\n
But know that if you want to play with PC players or the opposing console, Xbox or PlayStation, you must enable cross-play in the menu(s). However, consoles apart of the same network, like PS4 and PS5, are always playing on the same servers, meaning that disabling Crossplay does not affect them.<\/p>\n
How to Turn Off Crossplay in Warzone 2 on PS4 and PS5<\/h2>\n Disabling crossplay in Warzone 2 on PlayStation is the same process for both PS4 and PS5. To turn off crossplay in Warzone 2 on PS4 and PS5, go to the main Warzone 2 menu, press the Options button, go to Settings, scroll down to Account & Network, and then turn the \u201cCrossplay\u201d toggle off.<\/strong><\/p>\nWe have also listed the full process below:<\/p>\n

This means you will have to play with or against players from other platforms in your games.<\/strong><\/p>\nHowever, there is less of a need for such a setting.<\/strong><\/p>\nWhat is Crossplay?<\/h2>\n Crossplay allows players using different platforms to play on the same servers. This means PlayStation owners can play games with those on Xbox and PC.<\/p>\n
Those on the same platform network, like PS4 and PS5, are not affected by Crossplay on or off.<\/p>\nHowever, some claim it\u2019s unfair because of the automatic advantage PC players have with a mouse and keyboard. Others say Crossplay servers with PC players have too many cheaters or \u2018hackers\u2019 in them.<\/p>\n
Players can also use the in-game chat to talk with their team, regardless of platform.<\/p>\n
How Does Crossplay Work in Warzone 2?<\/h2>\n By turning on the switch to enable Crossplay in your settings menu Crossplay is enabled.<\/p>\n
On PlayStation 4 and 5, you must go to the in-game settings to turn it on or off, while Xbox has Crossplay settings in the general console menus.<\/p>\nIs There Cross Progression in Warzone 2?<\/h2>\n Yes, players on any platform can take their Warzone 2 progress across all platforms and back again on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.<\/p>\n
Additionally, there is also shared progression between Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2, and Warzone Mobile. This means you can level up your weapons or rank across all three games.<\/p>\n
Sign into your Activision account on the platform or game you wish to transfer to, and you can carry over all of your gear.<\/p>\nBut unless you plan on importing and exporting settings, you will have to adjust settings to your liking on the new platform.<\/p>\n
How to Fix Warzone 2 \u201cCan\u2019t Turn Off Crossplay\u201d Error<\/h2>\n If you receive a \u201cCan\u2019t turn off Crossplay\u201d in Warzone 2 error on your console or PC, you should either restart the game or check to see if the developer purposely removed the ability to disable crossplay.<\/p>\n
If your sub-category setting \u201cAccount & Network\u201d has the Crossplay option missing, it was likely purposefully or accidentally removed.<\/p>\n
