Devolver Digital,\u00a0Terrible Toybox\u00a0and\u00a0Lucasfilm Games\u00a0have announced that\u00a0Return to Monkey Island<\/strong> is now available on\u00a0Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n

Guybrush Threepwood \u2013\u00a0intrepid hero, leather jacket salesman, mighty pirate \u2013 sets out on a new swash-buckling adventure through the Caribbean in an effort to uncover the truth behind the tangled history of Monkey Island\u2019s most famous secret once and for all.<\/p>\n

While Guybrush and the evil LeChuck look certain to clash on the high seas once more, other old friends and foes make their return and a new crew of Pirate Leaders arrive on the scene to spoil the party.<\/p>\n

Guybrush\u2019s true love Elaine Marley has turned her focus away from governing, and the intrepid hero feels \u201cadrift and unfulfilled\u201d after never discovering the Secret of Monkey Island. Meanwhile, young pirate leaders led by Captain Madison have dethroned the old guard from power, Melee Island has taken a turn for the worse, and famed businessman Stan has been imprisoned for \u201cmarketing-related crimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Monkey Island series originators Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman have penned this sequel, which is brought to life through new visuals by Rex Crowle (Knights & Bikes,\u00a0Tearaway) and some of the voice cast from the original\u00a0Monkey Island.\u00a0<\/p>\n
