During today\u2019s Ubisoft Forward livestream, the company finally peeled back some of the layers to Assassin\u2019s Creed Mirage<\/em>, the \u201cback-to-basics\u201d stealth-action game that leaked late last month before getting confirmed as real.<\/p>\n

In the trailer, we see protagonist Basim Ibn Ishaq taking the Assassin\u2019s oath, saying \u201cI Am\u201d to several statements while stalking enemies and stabbing them in the back. The game takes place 20 years before 2020’s Valhalla<\/em>, with Basim going from a street thief to a master assassin, and focuses on stealth gameplay. <\/p>\n
