Research and Destroy gains \u201cStatistically Significant Update\u201d<\/h2>\n

Spike Chunsoft and Implausible Industries have announced the release of a patch patch for Research and Destroy<\/strong> known as the \u201cStatistically Significant Update\u201d.<\/p>\n

A wide variety of features and improvements requested by fans are included here plus numerous fixes and optimizations. This includes thea bility to play co-op from the start, per-player difficulty settings, Color Blindness correction and Vibration scaling options, and more.<\/p>\n

The full patch notes are as follows:<\/p>\n

NEW! Co-op from the start: The most-requested feature by fans was the ability to play co-op from the start. Both online and split screen co-op play are now available from the beginning of the very first campaign.<\/p>\n

NEW! Per-player difficulty settings: Opinions vary on the challenge RESEARCH and DESTROY provides to players. For those overwhelmed by the might of Supernatural forces and for those seeking an even higher challenge, we\u2019ve added a Difficulty slider in the Options. This setting is available to both players in co-op either online or in split screen, allowing all players to RESEARCH and DESTROY at a difficulty level they can enjoy.<\/p>\n

IMPROVED! Attack cameras during the Supernatural Turn: Players are now given \u201cOpt-in\u201d views when controlling the free camera when Supernaturals attack. This gives the player more control over how they can view the Supernatural turn. If the player leaves the camera controls untouched, the camera will still automatically show any attacks.<\/p>\n

NEW Options: The update provides Color Blindness correction and Vibration scaling options on all platforms.<\/p>\n

Improved: Increased text size for better legibility on Switch and other handheld screens.<\/p>\n

In addition, the update brings improved network performance, rendering performance, and fixes to all platforms.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

All players on Switch can grab the \u201cStatistically Significant Update\u201d for Research and Destroy now.<\/p>\n
