Ever since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai announced his new YouTube channel, \u201cMasahiro Sakurai on Creating Games\u201d, the channel has seen nothing but a constant surge in subscribers. It has almost 350,000 subscribers as of this article\u2019s writing.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Sakurai has been gradually rolling out new YouTube videos for the channel. One of them is about frame rates. According to Sakurai in the video\u2019s description, \u201cframe rates can sometimes play an important role in measuring time in games, too, though not as often as in years past\u201d.
