Pokemon Legends: Arceus <\/strong>is set in olden times in the Pokemon world at a time when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every Hisui Region Pokemon species to complete the region\u2019s first-ever Pok\u00e9dex.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Various people will also ask for help from the player in the form of requests. One of these requests is Request 116, titled \u201cRoselia\u2019s Path of Solitude.<\/strong>\u201d This guide will teach you how to complete the \u201cRoselia\u2019s Path of Solitude\u201d <\/strong>request.<\/p>\n

Roselia\u2019s Path of Solitude<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To unlock this request, the player must first complete the \u201cMassive Mass Outbreak in the Icelands<\/strong>\u201d request (request 101) and the \u201cDaybreak\u201d<\/strong> request (request 102), where the player must investigate the massive mass outbreaks in the Alabaster Icelands and complete the Daybreak DLC.<\/p>\n

After doing the requirements mentioned above, you can now start this request! To do that, head on to the Training Grounds in the northwest of the Jubilife Village, and on the left side of the building (or behind Ingo), the player will find Gared, who is a member of the Security Corps. Talk to Gared, and he will ask if the player has yet tried Ingo\u2019s Path of Solitude Battles. <\/p>\n

After selecting \u2018Path of Solitude?\u2019<\/strong> on the prompt, he will explain that the Path of Solitude is a chance to master the art of battling with a single Pokemon. He will say that battling a formidable opponent with just one Pokemon in the player\u2019s party feels like reaching for the stars as the player would have to know their Pokemon well to develop the best strategy. <\/p>\n

Then, Gared will say that he has a request for the player about the Path of Solitude which is said to be tough to beat, so that is what he wants the player to do. Then, after that, a bunch of requests will start, and one of them is the \u201cRoselia\u2019s Path of Solitude\u201d<\/strong> Request!<\/p>\n

After that, Gared will tell the player to show him the mark in the player\u2019s Pokedex once the player has completed the Path of Solitude with any of the Pokemon he mentioned.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To complete this request, the player must defeat Ingo and his Staravia in the Path of Solitude with only a Roselia in the player\u2019s party.<\/p>\n

Before talking to Ingo to start the Path of Solitude, ensure that the player has a Roselia around Level 60, as the player would have to battle Ingo\u2019s Level 60 Staravia.<\/p>\n

The highest level Roselia that the player can find is around Level 46-53 in the Fabled Spring in the Coronet Highlands. Roselia can be found in these locations at all times of the day and in every condition. The player can also catch a Level 60 and above Budew from Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Crimson Mirelands and evolve it into a Roselia.<\/p>\n

It is recommended that the player\u2019s Roselia has a Nature that boosts Defense, like Bold. Then, the player can boost Roselia\u2019s Effort Levels, focusing on boosting Roselia\u2019s Defense, HP, and Speed, using Grit items.<\/p>\n

As for Roselia\u2019s moves, it is recommended to let the player\u2019s Roselia learn and use Venoshock, a Poison-type special attack that is doubled if the opposing Pokemon has a status condition, and Stun Spore, which is a status move that paralyzes the opposing Pokemon.<\/p>\n

After training your Roselia and letting it learn the recommended moves, head to Ingo on the left side of Captain Zisu in the Training Grounds and talk to him. Select the \u2018Path of Solitude\u2019 <\/strong>on the prompt, and select \u2018Accept the challenge\u2019 on the next prompt. Then Ingo will let you choose one Pokemon, so put your Roselia in the party and remove all the other Pokemon so the player will only use Roselia. After that, select \u2018Begin\u2019 on the next prompt, and the player can now begin the challenge!<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that Ingo\u2019s Staravia is a Level 60 Normal and Flying type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to Electric-type, Ice type, and Rock-type moves (super effective), a resistance to Bug type and Grass-type moves, and immunity to Ghost-type and Ground-type moves (no effect). <\/strong>Ingo\u2019s Staravia may use Aerial Ace, a physical Flying-type attack that never misses, and Rest, which is a status move that restores the user\u2019s HP but makes it drowsy.<\/p>\n

Check the request description; it will give a tip to take advantage when the opposing Pokemon is Drowsy. What that means is to take advantage of Ingo\u2019s Staravia uses and Rest and becomes Drowsy by attacking it with Venoshock because, as mentioned above, the attack\u2019s power is doubled when the opposing Pokemon has a status condition.<\/p>\n

With that strategy alone, it is possible to defeat Ingo\u2019s Staravia. However, as Venoshock does not require any specific status condition on the opposing Pokemon so that it will deal double damage, the player can just use Stun Spore to Paralyze Ingo\u2019s Staravia instead of waiting for it to use Rest. So, with that in mind, the player can just use Stun Spore to Paralyze Ingo\u2019s Staravia, then, on the next turn, use Venoshock in Strong Style to deal major damage and, if the player\u2019s Roselia is strong enough, hopefully, defeat Ingo\u2019s Staravia with one hit. <\/p>\n

All the player has to worry about other than surviving Staravia\u2019s Aerial Ace, a Flying-type attack that is super effective against Roselia. It is recommended that the Player\u2019s Roselia has a Nature that boosts Defense, and Roselia Defense and HP Effort Values are boosted.<\/p>\n

After defeating Ingo\u2019s Staravia, Ingo will say that the player\u2019s Roselia has reached the final station on its Path to Solitude and that he has added a mark on Roselia\u2019s page in the Pokedex that signifies its victory. Then, Ingo will reward the player with three Exp. Candy L as a prize for having completed the Path of Solitude.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Afterward, head back to Gared<\/strong>, still near Ingo, and talk to him. Gared will say that it was a thrill to see the player\u2019s Pokemon best, the Path of Solitude. Then, finally, the player will be rewarded with one Seed of Mastery and one Exp. For your efforts and the \u201cRoselia\u2019s Path of Solitude\u201d<\/strong> Request, Candy L is now completed!<\/p>\n

Now that you have completed the \u201cRoselia\u2019s Path of Solitude<\/strong>\u201d Request, you can now try to complete other requests, complete missions, or complete Arceus\u2019 task for you, which is to catch \u2019em all!<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
