Warner Bros. Games\u00a0has announced that\u00a0the release window for Hogwarts Legacy<\/strong>\u00a0has been delayed into next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cHogwarts Legacy will launch on February 10, 2023 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The Nintendo Switch launch date will be revealed soon,\u201d the publisher confirmed in a Twitter<\/a> update. \u201cThe team is excited for you to play, but we need a little more time to deliver the best possible game experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Avalanche Software community manager Chandler Wood added in a video message<\/a>: \u201cYou may be disappointed that the game has been pushed out of 2022, but we\u2019re excited to finally give you a release date you can look forward to. We\u2019re excited about what we\u2019re creating here at the studio, and we just need a little bit more time to deliver the best possible experience to everyone. We appreciate your patience as we continue to work on the game, and we can\u2019t wait to bring you Hogwarts Legacy early next year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Avalanche Software\u00a0is behind this open-world, action role-playing game, which is set in the 1800s wizarding world. Promising to be \u201cfilled with immersive magic that puts players at the centre of their own adventure,\u201d you play as a brand new fifth-year student who has a unique ability to manipulate powerful ancient magic.<\/p>\n

You will set out on a dangerous journey to discover a hidden truth of the wizarding world, with your character\u2019s abilities growing throughout your adventure \u2013 whether that be mastering powerful spells, brewing potions or harvesting magical plants.<\/p>\n

Confronted with deadly enemies, you will also have the chance to meet new friends who can accompany you, interact with school professors and face dangers that may jeopardise the future of wizardkind.<\/p>\n
