Activision has announced that its upcoming FPS Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will receive an open beta this month over several days. The first beta period will be exclusive to PlayStation players only and will be live from September 18-20, with an early access period for PlayStation players who pre-order the game from September 16-17. The next beta period will run from September 22-23 for PlayStation players and those who pre-order the game on any platform, while the last weekend will run from September 24-26 for all players on every platform. <\/span>Additionally, crossplay will be active during the game\u2019s second weekend and will allow players on any platform to play together. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X\/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Battle.net. The game will launch on October 28.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first Beta weekend is available on PlayStation\u00ae 4 and PlayStation\u00ae5, and is scheduled to run from\u00a0Friday, September 16 at 10 AM PT<\/b>\u00a0to\u00a0Tuesday September 20<\/b>.
