Funko, <\/strong>the makers of those pop figures which seemingly cover every character in pop culture is developing a video game with studio 10:10 Games<\/strong>, what it calls a \u201cAAA action platformer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two companies announced the partnership during SDCC, and published a teaser video about the partnership.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough Funko\u2019s collaboration with developer 10:10 Games, the companies\u2019 first co-production will be a AAA action platformer in 2023.\u201d said Funko.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more is that this game has BAFTA award winner Jon Burton at the helm of its development, who according to Funko \u201chas gathered some of the industry\u2019s best creators\u201d to develop this new platformer.<\/p>\n

Beyond the \u201cAAA action platformer\u201d description, there\u2019s nothing we have to go on as to what this game will be like. Though we can likely be sure that it\u2019ll feature plenty of the figures Funko fans love to collect.<\/p>\n

Burton\u2019s vast experience developing multiple LEGO<\/strong> games over the last decade definitely adds some context as to why he\u2019ll be leading this new team, so it\u2019ll be interesting to see what the first game from this collaboration is like.<\/p>\n
