2K has revealed Michael Jordan as the cover athlete for the NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition<\/strong> and the \u201cultra-premium\u201d NBA 2K23 Championship Edition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 14-time NBA All-Star, five-time Kia NBA Most Valuable Player, six-time NBA World Champion and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer was previously on the cover for NBA 2K11, NBA 2K12 and the NBA 2K16 Special Edition.<\/p>\n

The basketball star is seen as \u201cthe perfect embodiment\u201d of this year\u2019s campaign theme, Answer The Call.<\/p>\n

Visual Concepts will also reintroduce The Jordan Challenge, which will challenge players to \u201crecreate 15 iconic moments from Jordan\u2019s illustrious career.\u201d This has seen the developer completely rebuild the 10 Challenges in NBA 2K11 \u201cfrom the ground up,\u201d as well as add five new iconic Jordan moments. <\/p>\n

This mode will also include video vignettes that come with special commentary from an array of NBA luminaries \u2013 such as Jordan\u2019s teammates, opponents and other sports personalities \u2013 who saw him do it live, with more details to be shared later this summer.<\/p>\n
