The trailer for the most anticipated game of the year has finally dropped! This is everything we know about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 story so far.<\/strong><\/p>\nOn Wednesday, the trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was finally released to the public, and it unveiled a lot of information about its campaign!<\/p>\n
By the looks of it, it\u2019s going to be the most remarkable Call of Duty game in a while!<\/p>\n
Furthermore, we also know all of MW2\u2019s upcoming editions and which one of them includes!<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s everything we know about the campaign so far!<\/p>\nActivision<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Although this was recently revealed on Call of Duty\u2019s blog, it\u2019s a different experience to see them in a trailer.<\/p>\n
This won\u2019t be the only familiar feature we will get in the game, as we know that classic maps will also make a return!<\/p>\n
As you can imagine, this means the return of Task Force 141 with all its fan-favorite characters such as Gaz, Ghost, Captain John Price, and Soap.<\/p>\n
It seems that during the campaign Task Force 141 will have to work alongside the Mexican Forces.<\/p>\n
This is why we will also get to meet new characters Alejandro Vargas, Corporal Phillip Graves, and CIA Station Chief Kate Laswell.<\/p>\n\nActivision<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n

The trailer shows that we will be a part of Laswell\u2019s Marines, with our first objective being to locate Hasan, a foreign general, and either capture him or take him out.<\/p>\n
For obvious reasons, this unchains a significant conflict between countries.<\/p>\n
When Task Force 141 discovers that the terrorist group Al-Qatala is working alongside the Mexican Drug Cartel \u2018Las Alamas,\u2019 they reach out to Colonel Alejandro Vargas\u00a0of the Mexican Special Forces for support.<\/p>\nActivision<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Luckily, we got a preview of some of the missions that we can expect to see in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2:<\/p>\n
Nightwar:<\/strong><\/p>\nIn this mission, we will take charge of Soap. Obviously, this mission takes place at night time, when we see an allied helicopter crash ahead of us.<\/p>\n
Then Task Force 141 uses night-vision to take out multiple terrorists and makes their way to secure the helicopter.<\/p>\n
This mission ends with the helicopter being hit by a rocket.<\/p>\n
Wet Work:<\/strong><\/p>\nA mission set in Amsterdam (most likely), in which water and swimming will play a significant part.<\/p>\n
We take control of Gaz and are tasked with finding out who is smuggling for the terrorists.<\/p>\nActivision<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Gaz moves around the area silently taking out targets one by one, pulling them down into the water for a stealthy kill.<\/p>\n
Tower<\/strong>:<\/p>\nA mission that takes part in a city (most likely Chicago). This mission involves a lot of rappelling down skyscrapers and allows the players freedom in how to complete it.<\/p>\n
Apart from this, there is also a mission involving vehicles, showing many new different vehicle mechanics.<\/p>\n

All in all, this game is extremely promising and surely will live up to its expectations!<\/p>\n
