Details on the Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta are leaking early, ahead of an official announcement dropping tonight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re eagerly awaiting the launch of MW2, it might not be long before you can get your hands on it! As with all Call of Duty releases, the game will be getting an Open Beta and it\u2019s releasing relatively soon.<\/p>\n

But it seems that PlayStation\u2019s exclusivity deal with Activision is still benefiting fans of Sony\u2019s console. That will likely come to an end in the coming years, as Microsoft\u2019s purchase of Activision puts Call of Duty in Xbox\u2019s domain.<\/p>\n

Finally, we have a brand-new reveal trailer for Modern Warfare 2 dropping hot, and it looks incredible. The game is shaping up to be a tremendous success for Call of Duty, and hype levels are through the roof.<\/p>\n

But as good as the new trailer looks, the most exciting reveal comes right at the end. A final message at the end of the MW2 reveal teases that a new Open Beta is on the way.<\/p>\n

And what\u2019s more, it\u2019ll be playable first on PS4 and PS5 consoles, at least 5 days before it comes to other platforms. Xbox and PC players will need to wait for their chance to jump into the latest title, at least this time.<\/p>\n
