SEGA has shared a new teaser trailer for Sonic Frontiers<\/strong>, showing the first gameplay footage for the blue blur\u2019s upcoming adventure \u2013 set against music from composer Tomoya Ohtani.<\/p>\n

Revealed at\u00a0The Game Awards 2021, the iconic blue blur will star in his \u201cfirst-ever open-zone-inspired gaming experience\u201d which has been led by producer Sachiko Kawamura and director Morio Kishimoto.<\/p>\n

With the chance to explore the visually stunning, open-zone realm called Starfall Islands, you can \u201caccelerate to new heights and experience the thrill of high-velocity open-zone freedom\u201d \u2013 landscapes packed with dense forests, overflowing waterfalls, sizzling deserts and more.<\/p>\n

SEGA recently revealed that the game was originally planned for a 2021 release, but was delayed \u201cto improve the quality of the title.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sonic Frontiers will release at retail and digitally on the\u00a0Nintendo eShop\u00a0for\u00a0Nintendo Switch\u00a0worldwide in Holiday 2022.<\/p>\n
