Once per week, Pokemon GO hosts a Spotlight Hour mini-event. These hour-long occurrences put the spotlight on a single Pokemon, making it incredibly easy to find in the wild.<\/p>\n

Not only will that Pokemon be spawning constantly as you travel, but each Spotlight Hour also comes with a special bonus.<\/p>\n

For example, the recent Magikarp Spotlight Hour gave players double XP for all evolutions that took place during the event! What\u2019s more, it offered up the perfect opportunity for players to finally nab that Gyarados they\u2019ve been after.<\/p>\n

Niantic<\/p>\n<\/figure>\nBear in mind, Spotlight Hours are the perfect places to hunt for a shiny Pokemon.
