Season 17 of Destiny 2 has finally arrived, and with it comes Bungie’s latest major upgrade to the subclass system with Solar 3.0.<\/p>\n

Following the success of Void 3.0 with Season of the Risen, fans were quite excited to see what the developers had in store with the fiery Solar subclass in Season of the Haunted, and following the release of the game’s update yesterday, the response has been quite mixed.<\/p>\n

For the most part, Void 3.0 was universally accepted as a game-changer for Destiny 2, when it arrived with the much-loved Witch Queen expansion. However, in Season 17, it seems like the developers at Bungie have their work cut for them with the Solar subclass and its new framework.<\/p>\n

While Hunters and Titans have shared positive reviews about the new Aspects and Fragments, Warlocks believe that the new change has been a step in the wrong direction, with many of them taking to Reddit to voice their concerns.<\/p>\n
