Rainbow Six Siege\u2019s<\/em> new DLC introduces two Yakuza<\/em> characters to the multiplayer squad-shooter. Sort of.<\/h4>\n

The content, which will be available from tomorrow, lets you dress up as badass dad Kazuma Kiryu and tough-as-nails Tokyo cop Kaoru Sayama. Both wield custom weapons, which may seem a bit odd as \u2013 the non-canon Yakuza: Dead Souls<\/em> aside \u2013 Kiryu prefers to use his fists.<\/p>\n

The reason for this discrepancy is that you\u2019re not actually playing as the characters. Instead, you\u2019re just applying their outfits to, respectively, Echo and Hibana. So you can happily shoot people in the face, even though Kiryu would roundhouse-kick that assault rifle out of your hands.<\/p>\n

We won\u2019t find out exactly how much the outfits cost until tomorrow, but based on previous DLC outfits you can expect to pay $19.99 for either costume, or around $35 for both. Yes, that\u2019s a little pricey for a single costume, especially once that doesn\u2019t actually transform you into the character. But if you\u2019re a hardcore fan of Sega\u2019s long-running open-world action-adventure and you\u2019ve played actual Yakuza game to death it might be worth taking the plunge.<\/p>\n
