Comic Con India (CCI), the Indian chapter of the pop culture community, is the latest to make a metaverse move. CCI is all set to launch its own digital collectibles, called \u2018The Non Fungible League\u2019, for fans of pop culture and NFTs alike. What is The Non Fungible League by Comic Con India?<\/b><\/h2>\n
Based on the Ethereum blockchain, Comic Con India\u2019s Non Fungible League is a series of NFT collectibles. CCI will launch the league\u2019s first character-based collection in the coming weeks. Actually, the league has even created its own mascot! Created by comic illustrator and animator, Abhijeet Kini, the mascot is called \u2018The Non Fungible Man\u2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
With its new digital collectibles that will enter the metaverse, Comic Con India\u2019s aim is to bring together Web3 and pop culture. Soon, the community will launch a range of other characters that will make their way to the metaverse. As the league expands, Comic Con fans can also expect comic books, animation, and a live-action series.<\/span><\/p>\n
\u201cThe metaverse and the burgeoning world of Web3 is the next big thing,\u201d said Comic Con India Director Karan Kalra. \u201c\u2026therefore we wanted to create a collection that bridged the gap between Web3 and pop culture. The plan is to create long-term value for all those signing for our league.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Founded in February 2012, Comic Con India is the country\u2019s biggest celebration of pop culture. CCI holds pop culture shows across the country, attracting over 200,000 fans every year. Besides, it boasts over 20 million digital fans.<\/span><\/p>\n
