Kerbal Space Program 2 has suffered another delay, and will now launch in early 2023 for PC with the console release coming “later that year.”<\/h2>\n

It’s another delay for space travel simulator Kerbal Space Program 2, which has now been pushed back into 2023, due to the fact that it is a game of “tremendous technological complexity.”<\/p>\n

“We are building a game of tremendous technological complexity, and are taking this additional time to ensure we hit the quality and level of polish it deserves,” says creative director Nate Simpson. “We remain focused on making sure KSP2 performs well on a variety of hardware, has amazing graphics, and is rich with content. We\u2019ve built a spectacular team at Intercept Games \u2014 a team that includes, as previously mentioned, key members from the development team behind the original Kerbal Space Program. We have the perfect combination of experienced, passionate, and skilled developers to fully realise this game\u2019s ambitious potential.”<\/p>\n

We don’t yet have a specific release date in 2023, just that Kerbal Space Program 2 will come to consoles “later that year.” Simpson concludes, “We are forever grateful to the KSP community for sticking with us on this journey, and we appreciate your continued support as we push towards the finish line. We can\u2019t wait for everyone to play the game, and we\u2019ll keep sharing more information with you in the coming months.”<\/p>\n

Kerbal Space Program 2 was included in our list of 22 Xbox games to watch in 2022 \u2014 several others on the list have now also suffered delays, meaning 2023 now looks to be packed with major launches.<\/p>\n
