Publisher RedDeerGames, in collaboration with develoepr Longterm Games, today announced Space Tail: Every Journey Leads Home. The 2.5D platformer will be arriving this fall on Switch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The premise is that the dog Bea has been spent into space. Along the way, players will encounter various creatures from outer space. RedDeerGames says the project is inspired by real events \u2013 \u201cwhen people tried their conquest of the space and were just starting it, to be clear.\u201d<\/p>\n

Space Tail: Every Journey Leads Home has three main mechanics of senses, relations, and companions. We have more information about each one below.<\/p>\n

Senses \u2013 Bea is not a superdog. She doesn\u2019t have any superhuman \u2013 or to be precise: superdog \u2013 powers. Just as any other dog she can rely only on her senses: smell, sight, and hearing. These are the main basics of mechanic called \u201cdetective mode\u201d, which will help her reach destinations and protect her from danger. In the unknown environment, she can only rely on her own senses and instinct.<\/p>\n

Relations \u2013 During her journey, Bea will meet many extraterrestrials. Some of them will be friendly, others will treat Bea as a danger. Players can interact with the creatures and communicate through a dialog system \u2013 based on the dog\u2019s behavior \u2013 to create a bond, find some common language and help each other. However, you need to be very careful, because each action will have its consequences.<\/p>\n

Companions \u2013 Traveling across different worlds Bea will befriend two entities: Comet Rose and the robot 8088Y. They will accompany her through the almost entire game, helping her solve puzzles and rescue her from troubles, and in the end, influence the game ending.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
