Publisher Electronic Arts, developer Capital Games, and Middle-earth Enterprises have announced their upcoming free-to-play \u201ccollectible role-playing\u201d mobile game The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth. The game will reportedly feature immersive storytelling, turn-based combat, deep collection systems, and a wide roster of characters from across the vast universe of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. The game\u2019s beta test will begin sometime this summer in limited regions.<\/p>\n

Electronic Arts vice president of mobile RPGs Malachi Boyle commented on the announcement in a press release, saying:<\/p>\n
