Summer Game Fest was already confirmed to be returning for 2022, but a date for the actual showcase has now been announced. Host and creator Geoff Keighley revealed today that the event, titled Summer Game Fest Live!, will take place on June 9. It will be live streamed on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook and more global outlets.<\/p>\n

Look for it to begin at the following times:<\/p>\n

\u2013 11 AM PT
\u2013 2 PM ET
\u2013 7 PM in the UK
\u2013 8 PM in Europe<\/p>\n

Keighley says that he\u2019s planning a \u201ccross-industry showcase.\u201d There\u2019ll be \u201cworld premieres, trailers, news and updates from the world\u2019s top game developers and platforms\u201d. Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition, co-produced by Double Fine Productions and iam8bit, will be happening immediately with a focus on \u201ccreative and diverse games\u201d.<\/p>\n

For those looking to get the most our of their viewing experience, Keighley has also confirmed that fans will be able to watch the Summer Game Fest 2022 showcase in select IMAX theaters. The two sides will be collaborating later in the year as well for The Game Awards 2022.<\/p>\n

Keighley isn\u2019t yet teasing any specific games for the Summer Game Fest 2022. At last year\u2019s show, we heard about Metal Slug Tactics and Two Point Campus<\/strong>. We also got new looks at Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Endless Dungeon, and Evil Dead: The Game.<\/p>\n
